For sale is a beautiful near mint condition 1979 Greco Super Real EGF-850
Double white bobbin "A" stamped PU-2 pickups with serial number "191215" (December 15th 1979).
"9 0187" ink stamp serial number, one of the earliest Greco Super Real 850s, made in December 1979.
Dark consistent rich colored fretboard, either Brazilian or Indian rosewood (some claim early EGF-850s had Brazilian rosewood, but I cannot confirm this)
Nitro laquer finish, two piece veneer maple flametop, 2 piece middle seam mahogany back, fret edge binding, vintage brown back and neck.
3 minor dings on lower back edge, 1 on back corner of horn, no veneer or binding issues.
Non original pickguard, all soldering is original.
Weight is 9.5 lbs
Ships with leather gig bag and packed with extreme care.
