I've ordered some goods (worth 800 pounds) from piedog in January, still waiting
I started panicing when their website disappeared and e-mails started to bounce back. I've been trying to gather as much information as possible about piedog the last week, but as I understand they are liquidating.
If you paid with a credit card, then you have a chance of claiming your money back from the credit company, unlike me (i paid by bank transfer).
I've also contacted consumer direct in UK regarding this, but all they advised was to send piedog a letter requesting to dispatch my ordered goods within 7-14 days and if they don't do so then contact consumer direct again. The problem is that i live in Tanzania and i have no idea when the letter would reach postal address of piedog and if anyone would read it at all.
Anyhow, i think there is still hope as i've gone through numerous webpages and forums and can see that the parent company of piedog (GEO A Williams and Son (Holdings)) might be taking over, therefore there is possibility that they will take care of all outstanding customers of piedog.
If you'll come across any new information, please let me know.
