Differences between LS65 and LS70F

Hi,

I'm new here, I've had a Tokai Ricky 330 copy for a few months now. Nice guitar, not quite sure it's me though.

I've noticed that the price difference between the LS65 and LS70F is around ?150, yet the only spec. difference seems to be the tops (plain maple on LS65, flamed sycamore on LS70F). Is this really the only difference? I quite like the look of the "plain top" on the LS65, and would probably go for that if I had the cash.

?150 just seems like a lot for a couple of pieces of flamed wood!

You're right, it's just the top.

The LS65 represents the best deal of the mid-range MIJ models IMO.

Thanks for the reply. The LS65 certainly looks like good value. One website I saw had them for the same price as the LS60. I guess the LS60 has a veneer top instead of a thicker wood top?

The 60 has different colour options and (I think) a 3-piece top but they're both proper maple on mahogany.
