dear Sir's , I am in search for information like year build ect of this used Tokai GoldStar Sound

dear Sir's ,
i have purchased this used Tokai GoldStar Sound in perfect mind condition ,
serial nr on back at hiel is : 140613 marked made in Japan -
the gold logo looks like 1984 -
on the lower hiel of the neck i find E2-2 -
in the body i also find the same marking E2-2 -
in the neck pocket are markings which are very difficult to see -
the pot's and 5 way switch looks like the one's used in the years 1982 up to 1985 models as far as i can find ? -
I have bought the guitar in it's original Tweed case which is also in very nice condition -
I really would appreciate the help me to find the exacte year of build and where ?

With Maple neck usually 8 hole PG not 11 as shown, My 84 has serial on neck plate

Dear Sir ,
you are absolutely right on the pick guard , when i opened it up the first thing i saw was indeed a bunch more PG holes then the original 8 PG holes so they have changed the PG with an 11 hole and so there are more holes then original - some people will never learn - still remains the exact date of building and the rare internal sing's like E2 - 2 on the neck hiel as well the same in the body -

No. They still make that headstock to this day.

All depends on where it is being sold.

The Registry is really, really misleading. I am working on gettting it changed so it is not as misleading.

hahaha okay many thanks but unfortunately the only Japanese i know is konichiwa , Captain San , karate , judo and arrigato also Budo and tatami or when we go out i like a japanese Ramen hahaha
