Hi guys,

I have a Jazz Sound to identify - it has a more modern headstock (post-lawsuit for sure), no serial number on the neckplate nor anywhere and "Made in Japan" at the botton of the neck.

It was supposedly bought "two owners ago" in early 2000s in a store in Denmark.

The instrument is absolutely great - very resonant, tightly made, with hot pickups, tunes perfectly, with beautiful dark rosewood and nicely patterned maple etc. But is it indeed Made in Japan despite the lack of serial numbers? What model might it be?

Looks like an early to mid 2000s all caps MADE IN JAPAN no serial AJB45 BBR I would say.

Tokai Fender copies that were made in Japan had no serial numbers between roughly 1992 and late 2009. During this time Tokai was making guitars for Fender and the no serial numbers may have had something to do with their contract?
