Hi there, i am looking into getting an alu tailpiece for my LS85F loverock.
Does anybody know the best/cheapest place to buy one from, i live in the UK, so purchasing from the USA might involve taxes etc.
Am i correct that they have a metric thread as opposed to an imperial thread for a Gibson?
Thanks in advance - MV.

Hi , thanks for your reply. I am interested, could you explain to me what is included in the Faberkit and what function it performs.
Is the alu stp included or extra?
Would it be 27 euros to the UK.
thanks in advance - MV.

I'll chime in here - the kit involves replacement studs and spacers for the tailpiece that lock it in place and turn the tp, studs, and guitar body into one solid mass. This improves vibration transfer from strings to body with a very noticeable improvement in sustain and resonance.

It's a similar idea to the tonepros system but MUCH cheaper and the design actually results in more solid coupling. My tonepros studs have been consigned to the spares tin since I got the faberkit.

I just bought the alu tail pieces and Faberkits for 4 of my guitars (3 Les Pauls and a V) Hope to install a couple this weekend. Thanks Gottfried.

Hey Gottfried.... this kit looks awesome! clever and simple engineering!

I wonder if it fits directly without having to install new inserts in the wood.

It works with the original inserts.

I carry now brass saddles equipped ABR's - exactly the same, which are mounted on the high end Tokais.
With one exception: The brass saddles are nature, not nickel plated - as on the high end Les Paul Reborns. 8)
Price Euro 38

Thanks Gottfried,

Please save me one of these, I'll pick it up next week !!

... in the meantime ... any pics of these ???

They were this way on vintage les pauls ?

Where can I find a list of all the stuff you sell (+ prices) ? I might order some things from you in the near future :)
