That is a low number. I would assume spring of 1982.

Once you get it and get a chance to look under the pickguard, please share pictures. In particular any codes stamped on the body and neck and any codes on the selector switch.

The pickups will help with the model if you don't already know it.

I will. I thought I had seen it listed in the forum with pictures but I can’t find it right now. But when it arrives I will definitely get all the info I can.

That would be this one. ST50GSR made in Feb. 1982

thanks ,that is it. Should be here Tuesday. I should have included the L at the beginning of the serial. From everything I could see in pictures it looks pretty much original. I did a lot of reading here on the forum before I bought it.

That is cool to know. I have read that some of the early ones had nickel instead of chrome finish on some of the metal parts.? Im new to Tokai but a long time guitar player. I love guitars with history. I’m glad to be part of the community. The guitar that I bought doesn’t have an original case, do cases come up for sale sometimes? Thanks for all the info.
