I have a 1987 catalog that would put is as EG-700. I think the year before they still had the EG59-65 "650" model with Screamin so there are probably some early 87 EG59-65s around.

Too bad it is so mint or you could pop the pickup covers off and see if they are alnico or not.

After futher consideration.... I will keep the guitar mint and not remove the factory plastic coverings over the pick ups, TRC, pickguard and both back plates.
