I think the "Zakk Wylde" Tokai LC80 they have is just something they made up..took a LC80s and installed EMGs in the store. They have done a similar thing with the Tokai strats and Seymour Duncans, selling "Seymourized" strat models (not the same as those mentioned in this thread, cheaper ones)...

Wow, that's got to be one of the most gorgeus Les Pauls I've ever seen. I know a part of it has to do with the photography and lighting but it's still a stunning guitar.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't sycamore some Asian maple family wood? It'd be cool if Tokai extended their LC range to have models with flamed and quilted tops..I just love the way the headstocks on Customs look with the binding and stuff.

Okay, all these different Tokai strat models confuse me. What are considered to be the good ones and what are the ones to avoid and why?

Hopefully we'll be seeing some more affordable models soon. I love the PRS shape, but not their prices! :D
