Tokai catalog 25 + 26 confusion

Between the 2004 vol 24 catalog and 2012 vol 27 catalog things get a little confusing.


Is the catalog cover showing an GS strat model standing on a red leather sofa
actually catalog vol 26 ? ... or vol 25 as marked ?

Does anyone have 2008 catalog vol 25 cover art ... or the whole vol 25 catalog ?
I can't find it anywhere on the net and it's not that old...
Dealers remove old catalogs from their websites

Volume 25 is the GS on the red couch...I have the catalogue.
Volume 27 has the Oak coloured Quilt top on it, with the 65th Anniversary 'Cat Eyes" and Tokai Tweed amp.
As far as I know there is no Volume 26, I never received it.

Are your dates correct?
Why I ask.
In 2009 Joe sent me the latest catalogue which at the time was Volume 23.
 
I'm honestly not sure of dates, because they're not posted after 80's catalogs, but thought volume 23 was printed between 2005-2007.
The top premium Les Paul model (current LS-540) was designated an LS-380 in #23, and SEB models are introduced.

In volume 24 the top premium Les Paul model was designated an LS-470. Perhaps that was between 2007-2009 ? ... not sure exactly when however.

Vol 27 was 2012, I'm pretty sure.

I just find it strange there was no catalog vol 26 and was wondering if there might have been 2 different issues of a #25 catalog ...
with the 2nd vol #25 being a volume number misprint ?


Sorry if I appear to be obsessing over trivialities. :)
 
Vol 27 was definitely 2012...you're correct there.

Vol 23 seems to be 2007 - 2009
Vol 24 perhaps 2009 - 2010, and Vol 25 2010 - 2011?
Vol 26 disappears, or maybe it was scrapped and replaced by Vol 27 and the printers call it 27 instead of 26. :D
