Tokai with 3 Pickups? Les Paul Goldtop HALP?!?

Hello,

I have found a seller with a 2005 (serial : 05XXXXX) Goldtop Tokai Love Rock
He says he doesn't know what model it is

I can't find a 3 pickup love rock anywhere, let alone a 2005 Catalog

Custom shop? Weird Artist model (Frehley had a burst and Frampton had a black custom iirc)? Counterfeit?

I'm flummoxed !

Grover tuners, aftermarket TRC, removed guard, p90 in the middle... My money's on a major mod job.

I would ask for good pics of the headstock front and back, and pictures of the pickup cavities and control cavity to check the quality of the work (if it is a mod).

Good news is that if it's modded that much it significantly reduces the resale value, so if you like what's been done to it you should be able to get it cheap.

Yeah, it's all aftermarket. You need cavity pics to assess the quality of the routing job.

It's got some holes in the back covered by stickers, 2 PRS pups and a bare knuckle

I'm not SUPER stoked and thanks for the help

The HLS160 and HLS240 and a GORGEOUS HLC175 I think are more my speed
