Collecting examples of these to sort out how long they were made.

I have seen them in the 1983 and 1984 catalog, but no acoustics are shown in catalogs again until 1995.

No. These are all actually lower priced models.

The more expensive ones during these years (1982-1984) had the torch inlay.
