Here's my Talbo Jr

Cost about ?150 including branded gig bag from a small music shop in Osaka in 2002. It's a great fun guitar, and the built-in amp/speaker gives some really cool nasty feedback effects.

Anyone else here like these?

What does it sound like through a decent amp? Can you compare the sound to anything else?

It's got quite a lively sound due to the metal body which is hollow except for the speaker. I always find myself wanting to play dirty mutant blues on it! That's the sound!

Me too. I used to gig with a guy that played a bass with a body made from a metal bed-pan. It got a nice woody tone. Sounded great.
