Has anyone had any luck with replacement pickup rings that fit properly on a Love Rock? Tried to replace mine (black, on a black LS) with cream Dimarzios to get the guitar back to the original colour scheme, but their screw spacing is too small. They haven't got the nipple to hold the spring, either, but that's only a minor irritation.
The other option I'm considering, given that I prefer the look of the guitar without the scratchplate, is to replace that with a black one. Any suggestions on which brand to go for? Obviously I'm hoping to avoid paying for anything that says Historic.
