So this arrived recently, it's a pre-serial number 74-75 Greco 'Narumo' EG800. Stuck some new strings on it as I think the ones that were on it could have been fairly old - a couple of the strings snapped as I was bringing it up to pitch. It's 4.2kg, nice and resonant and the intonation thankfully seems near enough spot on. It looks like it's seen some use, you can tell it's been played quite a bit although it's been taken really good care of. The binding has aged to that lovely nicotine-stained yellow that you often see on vintage guitars
Haven't plugged her in yet, will save that experience for later in the week. Plays great without me haven't to make too many adjustments, looks like it will need a refret at some point as there's not much left in them and they're pretty flat to the neck. All in all a very cool old 'LP', loving the wine red top on it too
