I am looking at buying a professed 1982 Love Rock and would appreciate some help in determining if the item is legit and if so if it is in original state.
The inlays on the fretboard are dots, rather than trapezoids. All the other Love Rocks I have seen (at least LP Standard types) have the usual trapezoid shapes.
The serial number begins with 20, and there is a sticker with a 60, so it seems to be the LS60 from 82 that it claims to be. But I wonder about that fretboard . . .
By the way, this is clearly a single cutaway Les Paul copy. I have searched the database as best as I could, and all I could find is one mention of a Special model that looked similar, as far as the fretboard and single cutaway went.
any info / advice would be appreciated. Thanks.http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a259/toomanyguitars/ABlackTokaidot6.jpg
