ミックロンソン Greco EGC MICK RONSON MOD(グレ... - ヤフオク!

Thank you for visiting. Japan vintage! Modified. We will exhibit the 1989 Greco EGC MICK RONSON MOD. Originally it was a traditional Black Beauty custom, but suddenly I wanted to reproduce the 1968 Les Paul Custom of David Bowie's band The Spiders From Mars guitarist "Mick Ronson", one of my favorite guitarists who looks good with a Les Paul. I finished it. (By the way, Mark Bolan also used a Les Paul with a natural top similar to Mick Ronson. Were natural Les Pauls popular in the glam rock world at that time?) Although it is modified, the top is natural. Surprisingly, I did not tamper with it. The finish other than the top is also original, and the pickups are also original at that time. Once the top is cleanly peeled off to the state of the fabric, the base and scratches are adjusted, lightly dyed, and clear polyurethane is blown and buffed. Is this the original color even if you look at it seriously? It's a finish that feels like it. Mick Ronson's Les Paul, of course, has the same all-black Les Paul Custom as this machine, with the top removed and repainted in a natural finish. Even the humbuckers and uneven control knobs are fully reproduced. It is an old and used one, so of course there are some scratches, but it is in very good condition as a guitar, the neck is in good condition, and the fret wear is very slight. It is finished in one highly practical as well as appearance. It may be good for Japan vintage fans, those who like Greco guitars, as well as Mick Ronson fans, those who like Marc Bolan, who want a Les Paul guitar with a slightly different feel. Recommended for anyone. Please take this opportunity to obtain it. Since this machine is old, there are scratches and feeling of use due to use. It is not recommended for those who are concerned about scratches and the like, and those who are nervous, so please do not bid. The case will be the hard case of the image. This "Greco EGC MICK RONSON MOD" is generous as usual! "1 Yen Auction! No minimum bid! ], so please participate in the auction while having fun. Thank you for your continued support.

That's funny, I just bought this one, which appears to be an basically identical Greco EG from the same period, also a Ronson mod (I think), but unfinished!
The top's been stripped, but whoever owned it obviously didn't follow through.
I don't normally buy modded guitars, but I'm an old Ronno fan (well, basically old anything these days, tbh :) ), the messy bit of the work has already been done and it was quite cheap, so why not?
