That's due to his health. Sounds pretty mean and powerful still. I play .046 / .010 as well but you can fool around with string tension adjustment quite a bit in setting up a LP.

New nut from Graph Tech and a set of Gibson Burstbuckers 2+3, to my humble opinion they do sound brighter than the stock pickups. Anyone (in the neighbourhood) interested in the stock pickups?

S Sjofar Active member Joined Jan 30, 2013 Messages 28 Reaction score 0 Location the Netherlands May 22, 2014 #26 The final version: with Gibson historic washer, pickup mounting rings, pickguard and toggle switch cap. Also replaced complete wiring. Only originals are body, neck and pots.
