LS pickups: MK2 vs MK2s difference

Hi. In the current catalogue, the cheaper "Vintage" series LS models have PAF-Vintage MK2S pickups, while the "Premium" series ones have PAF-Vintage MK2 pickups. Does anyone know the difference?

MK2 is a somewhat generic name for their second tier pickups. They have changed a lot over the years, so it is hard to say. I don't have the resistance readings on the newest ones, but here are some others to look at to get an idea.

I don't mean over the years, just their current catalogue iun 2024. I've had a look at the threads above and haven't found a clear answer. I've been wondering, if MK2S might have Alnico 5 magnets, while MK2 Alnico 2 magnets...

That catalog is actually not a catalog. It is screen shots of the 2017 catalog I believe that they then changed prices on.

2024 Catalog ?

There is new ownership at Tokai and I am not sure how willing they are to share information. The old management was pretty tight lipped about pickups.
