Looking for info on Tokai SG's

Tried searching and it seems the phpbb search function doesn't return results less then 3 characters and manually searching was giving me a major headache. I've been thinking about trying to pick up a vintage Tokai (or maybe other Japanese) SG copy but know diddly squat about them. Is there anyplace I can go to see what the different models that were available nd the associated specs for them? Are the SG copies as well regarded as some of the old Fender one? I have an 82 Hard Puncher that's fantastic. It's a 70's copy that's far nicer then any vintage 70's Fender I've had in my possession. What are typical price ranges one might expect? There are no completed items on eBay to get a reference from right now.

I had the same headache, not alot of info. I had a 83' tokai sg. Wasn't impressed. The upper fret access was lame? Neckjoint met neck pup. Anyway it played fine but seemed cheap and not a 1 piece back. For les pauls tokai is great but sg I would get a gibson or a Burny late 80's. I have seen a few new nitro sg's on ebay that look good?
