I keep coming across really high spec guitars that seem to have been made by Terada for Kurosawa in the 1990s?
So far examples that I believe fit this combination of Kurosawa commissioning Terada to build guitars are:
Stafford
SIGMA acoustics
Shenadoah acoustics
Note that Kurosawa may have also contracted with builders in Korea to build some of the Sigma and Stafford labeled guitars. For example, Staffords with scarf joints in the necks and Sigmas using fretboards stained dark to resemble rosewood.
Gathering Japanese (?) examples below.
