Hi everyone,
Came across this Tokai start, the seller posted it as Tokai TST100 GSR, you can see that there is a “springy sound” mark on the headstock and it's so confusing for me because I couldn't find anything similar to this model.
The seller states it's a fender start 62 analog has a nitro finish and 7.25 inch fretboard radius, 21 frets, ST vintage MK3 pickups and ST-VK1 tremolo
Please help me to identify this model and approximate price for this one, thank you.

You’re missing a critical picture. The neck plate and base of the neck.

Btw, lacquer finish doesn’t go with MK3s

That logo doesn’t go with a Springy.

Something is weird.

unfortunately, that’s all that the seller posted, need to ask him for additional pictures.

That's looking very new indeed. Unless they've started making Springy's again, its been doctored up. The trem is post 2000 as VK2's are used now and the mk3's are current on low model number Goldies from China. None of the low models would be Lacquer finish either. That Lacquer sticker is used on current high end models only.
8 screw scratchplate not 11 though there seems to be both 8 and 11 versions around in goldstar and the protective film is loose above the sticker.

The Chinese seem to take some license with Tokai logos and ways of branding guitars that they don’t do in Hamamatsu Japan.

Like this logo on a Cat's Eyes guitar.

Wondering if this is a Chinese guitar. Authorized or not.

it's interesting cause he is selling TST 50 with the same logo and springy sound mark, and it says made in japan on the back of the neck, pictures attached
also, it has an original case

So something isn't right.

What country is this guitar located in?

He is in Ukraine, looks like this guy has a store, and he is selling 6 Tokai guitars, he posted these two Strats and also 3 Tokai Les Pauls they are all "Old Reborn", and Tokai ES style, so that's why I was sure he had original guitars.
you can check some pictures below

Yeah, I don't know. And I feel terrible for him. Would guess he is selling those to try and survive if he is in Ukraine.

In 2016 there wasn't a TST50 I don't believe. These low end guitars were made in China at that time and the model closest to that was the AST44, which was a Chinese built guitar.

There are definitely some weird things that show up in Eastern Europe. Many guitars with certificates of authenticity that look to be faked.

Real or Fake Tokais in Hungary?

I don't want to adversely impact anyone in that situation trying to survive, but that is just what I have seen from my perspective.

Not sure what to tell you.

Yeah... hope he is doing well,
anyway thank you for all comments looks like "Tokai World" is deeper than I thought )

P.S.
Sorry for offtopic
I'm in Ukraine as well, in Kyiv
guitars help to take the mind off the war, and keep living and keep playing, thanks for all the support

Man..... I wish you the best. My great grandparents were from a region of Poland just over the border. It breaks my heart to see what is happening to your country. The world is definitely watching. There are some other members on here form Poland as well. Homeras is one. You may want to reach out to him? He has had some great guitars and seems like a really good guy.

Homeras

Thank you, I appreciate it, the support of the world means a lot to us. And met people who are supporting us is always a pleasure, thank you

About guitars, Tokai was one of the options I was just monitoring used gear in case something interesting showed up and this Tokai just caught my eye and brought me to this forum, so nothing super serious just was curious if I found some unique.

I recommend you reach out to Homeras. You may find a new friend. You seem like minded. Best wishes.
