Did you just order it without researching it or playing one first? Kind of a risky endeavor considering what they cost.
Without a doubt, it's going to be an amazing guitar - I have an 81 ES100 and I've played a natural finish ES120 - can't say anything but good things about them. The ES155 model is a higher end version - perhaps different electronics, wood, etc..... Perhaps one of our other more informed forum members can fill in the blanks.
It seems to be difficult to order a 155 at the Time. Ordert on from
togps,but its no way in 3 month. But anyway,buy a ES 100R '81 now
from him.Think thats the better Deal.
When that model did not exist I asked Tokai about an ES model with these specs for myself. It was my intention having one like the old ones specs wise.I couldn?t buy it because serious finantial reasons altough I really wanted this kind of guitar.Months later I was surprised when I see this ES-155 model in new '06 Tokai catalogue.I get very pleased being it avalaible as a regular model.I?m seriously tempted to get one for myself and I think I ?ll do it atr the end.
I guess you will get a really good guitar.Let me know your opinion about it when it reaches to you...
