Differences in the decades

So after doing much research about my new Breezy, it got me to wondering how much difference in quality there is between guitars made in each decade.

Was there ever a dip in quality? Are the pre-'83 Fender copies really that much better than the later ones?

Basically, how consistent a manufacturer is Tokai?

Well, all the guitars made in the different decades have been made in the same factory owned by the same family and in many cases by the same craftsman...since 1947.

Can't really argue much with that! It seems my late 90's Breezy as almost as good as my friends early 80's Breezy, I suppose this would explain it...
