This is a Bacchus telecaster made in Japan. This particular brand is not very well known outside of Japan but apparently very popular in Japan. This tele is from their vintage series and from what I have read has been discontinued. It is a hand made guitar and you can tell when you pick it up and play. The neck is nice and thick, stiff quarter sawn maple. The fretts are smaller vintage size and dressed perfect (very minor frett wear). Pick-ups sound fantastic. Middle position gives you a gainy rock/bluesy kind of sound and the bridge has the traditional tele twang. The finish is a semi transparent cream color with a few very minor nicks, swamp ash body that is a little over 7.5 lbs (bathroom scale). I have gone back and forth about selling this over the past year and have decided its time to sell, for now.
