The "kink" is in the edge of the laquer (masking). The binding underneath follows the contour of the top perfectly

Which specs do you mean? Indeed there are no specs in the ad, the info on the angle is what I found on the web about Tokai HLS's.
What's mentioned at the beginning of this thread is from examining the guitar itself...
