Yup. Should be carved maple top
The only vintage LC I have seen with a maple top is the LC60M 70s Norlin copy with the volute. And it was subcontracted in Nagano.

I was pointing to the long running debate about whether the LC100 is one piece of mahogany.
This year at least they are saying 1 over 1. I have seen other Tokai literature that says they are one piece and have seen LS100S examples that look like one piece bodies.
