Tokai Love Rock Pacifix Exclusive トーカイ レ... - ヤフオク!

Seller's description:

Tokai Les Paul model Pacifix Exclusive Custom model made in 2008.
I bought it second hand before. It is a custom-made model of Pacifics, and it will be a model that is close to the specs of the vintage Les Paul in 1959. (Pacifix Exclusive is listed under the Love Rock on the head) Because the model name is unknown, some of the specs are unknown, but the lacquer finish (Tokai logo looks gold with lacquer). Brass saddle without retainer + aluminum tail It will be a high-spec model such as peace Madagascar rosewood fingerboard . The weight is 4.0 kg (measured with a scale). The pickups have been replaced with Gibson Burstbuckers since purchase. Since the lacquer coating is thin, small scratches etc. are somewhat conspicuous. The most noticeable scratches are the part where the cutaway hit and the paint peeling on the 1st string side near the 10th fret on the neck. (Images 7 and 8) The accessories will be a warranty card. Since there is no case for shipping, it will be shipped in a cardboard box.

[Jacaranda fingerboard/Honmahon neck] Tokai ES-2PX

Description of item

I will be exhibiting Tokai's ES-2PX.

I believe this is a model that rarely appears on the market, but I hear that it was created in collaboration with Pacific Exclusive .

The paint is lacquer. It uses a Jacaranda fingerboard and a Honduran mahogany neck, and as you would expect from Tokai, the construction is very careful.

The neck has a slightly thick impression and is solid, and is made of 1046 gauge, but it has a 12F, 1st string height of 1.5mm, and 6th string height of 2.0mm. No warping can be seen on the neck. It is lightweight, weighing around 3.5kg.

Below are the changes.
Peg: I didn't like the original greenish button, so I replaced it with a 3x3 type peg from Faber in Germany. Tailpiece: Replaced with an aluminum one also made by Faber. It is also fixed using Fixer.
Pickup: This may not be familiar to your ears, but we have included a covered version of Geppetto Guiters' Japan Limited Nomad humbucker.

I purchased it at KOIZ JAPAN, but it seems like the model is no longer available. I remember that the front used A2 and the rear used A4, but in my opinion, it is a model that is low gain and very clear and suitable for semi-acoustic. I checked the sound output before putting it up for sale, and both the volume and tone are working well.

The case comes with Gator's G-PG-335V, so I think you can use it as is to go to the studio or gig.

for PACIFIX Exclusive model

LS-2

Equipped with Pickup! TOKAI PAF Vintage MK2 while maintaining the basic specs of LS-1. A model with a different sound nuance.

The LS-2's body top is made of 2 pieces of solid hard maple, and the body back is made of 1 piece of Honduras mahogany. The neck is a one-piece Honduran mahogany deep joint. And the finger slope uses very valuable Jacaranda wood. The binding on the slope side is an edge binding that requires time and skill, but we applied a lacquer finish to it. The woodwork that affects the sound of the guitar is perfect. The hardware includes a cow bone nut, brass bridge saddle, and aluminum tailpiece, which transmits all the vibrations of the strings to the body. Furthermore, the internal wiring uses vintage wire GE70S, an oil condenser (sprag orange drop) for the tone circuit, and CTS for the volume, making every part luxurious.

No, If Rolphs a LS-1 then.
Rolphs are outstanding pickups. Tokai choose Pretender 59 for these builds which are a bit hotter than 58 ones,
Very difficult to tell from another clone but it can be done.
