I couldnt find the Tokai I wanted, so I went to ebay and got an Edwards Custom 130 straight from Japan, A gorgeous guitar. Im very happy with. The universe does stuff for a reason, you dont know why at the time, but thats what I had to go through to get the guitar I really love. :)

Just for people Goggling or searching this subject . . . I know its not really applicable to this thread, but, this seems to be a common topic. Tokai has NO Canadian distributors, and set neck models are not supposed to be in North America. This info came to me two days ago after getting burned...

Drama continues. Tokai just wrote me back and said they have no Canadian vendors and that guitar should not be in North America. They asked for pictures, too. I've never had so much craziness with a purchase of any type.

Yeah, I think the mystery of what it is is solved in another thread. One good thing about popping the panel was that I can see it really is mahogany in there instead of basswood or something like that, so pots aside, I know its OK wood. Thank you both for responding!
