Tokai LS98s vs LS220s

Looking into a p90 equipped les Paul, these two are mentioned a few times.

What are the differences? Is the 220 far superior?

Model number relates to the price. And the two guitars you are comparing are different spec and different ages.

LS98S is from 2012 or so.

Comparable guitar to the LS220S in 2012 would be the LS165S believe?

You are welcome. There are pronbaly other differences like the pickups, wiring, and frets as well, but body construction and finish are the biggies.
