Hi Members,
I'd love some help identifying my Goldstar Sound!
I was told when I purchased it that it was a completely original 1984 ST50, but the more I read the forum, the more confused I become as it seems to have conflicting attributes.
Here are the details:
- Body is black (poly finish. shiny right?)
- C shape neck
- Rosewood fretboard
- Tokai GOLDSTAR SOUND script logo - Oldies BUT Goldies - THE QUALITY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS OF THE WORLD
- Single t style string tree (not the round style)
- Deluxe stamped tuners
- Lxxxxxx serial number
- 3 ply pickguard (white/black/white) - 11 screws
- FINAL PROSPEC string saddles
- E stamped pickups
- 1 = 2 = BB V stamped in electronics cavity
- 1 = 2 stamped on the neck
- Neck pocket is not stamped
- Tremelo arm
- Original Tokai tweed hard case

She plays so nice! Any help identifying her would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
PS. Are these ST's or TST's? I'm reading both IDs in different places on the forum and am wondering which is technically correct.
