Hi Guys
I think you have totally misread your own web site details, you have all seen this I hope!
http://tinypic.com/m/id6hio/1
Well the right interpretation of this table which I believe is taken from the 82 catalogue the contents of which I claim no involvement is:
1954~PRE-1956 ST 80, 100, 120, 4 digits are your V neck models and being PRE-1956 they would have a round button string tree.
(this would comply the Tokai catologue, ST80's and above have V necks and with the equivalent Fender Stratocaster from 1954 to PRE-1956 that they had button string trees)
The next line in the table reads:
1956~60 Models, 5 digits on neck plate, ST50, 60, are "C" shaped necks with buterfly string trees.
(this also would comply with the Tokai catalogue that says ST70 and below are "c" shaped and the equivalent Fender Stratocaster from 1956 onwards that they had butterfly string trees)
Before you lash out and tell me I am wrong again think about it, all the Tokai information comes from your own website and all of the Fender information comes from a World renowned Fender experts site. It doesn't leave you much room to distort the facts!!!!
Gods are never right!!!!
