In the april 1982 catalog there is a page with Limited models to be released amongst them 70S models.

The one in the add has a different serial on the neck plate btw, neck plate looks like it was gold before..

Looks like it could be a partsocaster. The headstock decal looks like the Silverstar variety - doesn't seem kosher to me.

Hi guys,

yeah, interesting model.
It also has a painted headstock, "U" pickups, 2 pce body, gold hardware, the bridge has been swapped out, graphite nut and enclosed tuners.
Quite the variation from the regular Springy.
