TOKAI JOE said:8) this model called LS195 is very cool and kinda popular among
some japanese good tokai dealers lately. its a semi-order gtr
so not the regular catalog models. tokai seems to be thinking
to sell this model as the regular i heard but so far they havent.
LS195 is just like that old LS150 figuredtop from several years
ago. its basically LS135/150 today but with 2A figured maple top.
its the high end japanese class model in between LS135/150
and LS230/250. LS135/150 is plaintop as we know and LS230/250
is flametop that is about 3A. LS320/380/370/480 all had 4A flame
top which tokai can offer as their best flames. never more than
4A usually even by the custom orders.
i often think this LS195 is the best buy like that old LS150 figured
was. i think big willie in korea still has one. ask him for the pics!
8) tokai joe.

Knys said:I have a 2005 ls150 VF flame top I bought two months ago here in this forum. It is a Uk version from coda music I think. Are they the same guitars as the ones sold in Japan ? I know the head is slightly different.
The top is not a 3A or even a 2A, I think it is between a plain top and flame top.

You still can find the UK LS150 version in some shops, it seems that LS150 only became LS250 in those models with regular headstocks.

I don't catch this. Is it possible to custom order from Tokai?
TOKAI JOE said:yes the custom orders are all possible just we cant order brazillian RW
frertboard easily lately even its still used on the highest LS models.
what is tokai UK is giving us there are the custom order service
and the semi-special order service. (the options) which is only
a little modification and a little extra fee. ask tokai UK all about
that. the custom orders and the semi-special orders.
