Does the MIK Greco LP's use a maple cap with a mahogony back or do they use cheaper wood like basswood? I was lookining at a MIK LP custom with a long neck tendon. The pick up cavities are shielded with the standard black paint, so you can't really tell. I think there was someone one here that sanded one down and they thought it was basswood.

i got a mik greco ..... and it has a maple top a 2 piece top but very very very hard to see ...... :D :D and mahogony body i think it has the long tenor too .... has the black paint too but i did sand some off to see it ...... it is a bit on they heavy side ...... and some fool did think it was a good ide to put a gibxxx logo on it ...... but i got it for a good price ..... not a bad guitar ..... has the cor-tek pots ......
mine has the glued on head ...... but good parts ,,,, they all say japan ,,, :D :D but no serial and the cor-tek pots means mik
