I have 2 85' LS80f's that I paid a total of $200 for one and $250 for the other  can put a big smile on my face! The first one I bought from a widow at my church who's husband never got a chance to play it before he died in 85'...all she wanted was a $200 dollar donation to the church in her husbands name! The second one I bought in the Guitar Center parking lot from a guy who was offered $200 by the store and had to get $250. This was 5 years ago...my how things have changed! 8) TG
The topic is an old one ...is it ethical to buy something for much lees than its worth. I consulted a woman I know who deals in antiques and estate sales. and she said "Whats one mans trash, is another mans treasure" So when I went to an estate sale in my neighborhood and purchased an Epiphone Casino for $75 it was a Win/Win transaction! Seller Beware! TG
You're getting worse. I meant my comment to be ironic - but you've replied and justified it with another deal. Ha ha
As you say buyer beware. A friend of mine was in a Guitar shop when a guy came in and wanted to swap a $2000 acoustic for a Squire! They let him have the swap and he was very happy. So why should we be worried I suppose.
not yet..wolf ...and ochay has a reborn 80 for sale ..if he lets me know how much he wants I may be tempted ...but I really do have too many guitars... LOL as you know.....
I just sent it - if the mail did not vanish in the nirvana - that sometimes happens! I resend it if necessary. Don't be confused with different adresses, one is privat and one is office!
Ah, I finally found the way to make many posts and become a ... guitar god 8) 8) 8)
