There are probably dozens of posts over the years showing photos after someone asked the same question as yours. If you do a search on Love Rock or Reborn photos, you'll probably have plenty to look at.

NO...not too many will participate because as Marcus mentioned..we've ALL uploaded dozens of pics of our collections over the many years that we've been here and if you do a search for say "collection" I reckon you'll be more than happy.

There was talk of upgrading the gallery, or of creating separate pic sites for each type of guitar. What happened to that idea? I do think there's scope for it - we could just direct our new member here to the link, & with all the pics (currently spread around dozens of old posts) in one place, it would keep him happy for hours.

Let me think about that, it's a drive space killer which is why I stopped the gallery once we had examples of most models.

I think the proposal was that we could do something semi-independent from the forum. We could set up a series of photobucket accounts (one each for Goldstars, Springys, Love Rocks etc.), and we could have a different person running each one - I volunteered to manage the Goldstar one.
Each time somebody posts a pic of a nice example of a certain model, particularly an unusual example, the person running the site could ask the owner's permission to load the pics on the photobucket site, with brief details of what the guitar is, & who owns it.
The links to the various photobucket accounts could be published in the registry, which would save Ned & Oze from having to run this particular aspect of the registry - unless they particularly wanted to control each one, which I doubt. It could be made clear that these separate sites are not part of the official Tokai Registry, but are affiliated to it.
How does that sound? If the work is shared like this, it shouldn't be too onerous for the individuals concerned, & we will have a constantly updated on-line file of pics.

I meant to add, my suggestion is that whoever runs each group/section will inform Ned of the password, so that he can remove anything in the unlikely event of something inappropriate being posted.
