Like the title suggests, I'm trying to narrow the date the circuit board was dropped for LS-120 + lower models.

I'm guessing end of 1984 or beginning of 1985 based on very little info ???
I did a search and nothing came up, if it's been asked and answered already.

Anyone with a late 1984 or early 1985 LS model have a circuit board ?
1st 5 digits of serial# would be helpful if you have one after late 1984.

Thanks !

I'd say in 1985. I have seen both with and without PCB board during that year. The ones without had the same pots as Burny's from that era with red chicklet caps.

Thanks Jacco.

Any idea from a serial number standpoint how late in 1985 ?
I would hopefully like to determine if they were dropped mid year or at the end of 1985 ?

Anyone with a Grandy ? ... could you please check ?
I think most Grandys were produced near the end of 1985.

Thanks.

Have to check my database..

Ask Chris about the Grandy, he sold one a few years back.

Just checked. The Grandy's I have logged have range from 5033xxx to 5034xxx. The very last Tokai I have logged from 1985 is in the same range, so indeed: Grandy's were made at the end of 1985.
Also found Chris' Grandy but hat one has a non original wiring type and 1989 pot codes.
It also has 6-12 stamped in the neck pickup up cavity; december 6?
