Hi everybody,

has anybody here played or owned one? :D
They were made in the late 80's I guess, it does appear in the Mint catalog from 1990, and I have seen one dated 1988.

I might be interested in getting one, so give me a holler if.........

Hi. I have the Greco L5-S copy and a Gibson L5-s.
Very, very rare birds indeed. When I saw the Greco for sale on eBay, I jumped on it. Cost me $1800 which i think is quite fair for a copy of a guitar that is now so valuable.
Hope this helps

In all honesty, they are so identical, man you can't tell. The Gibby L5-S is an unbelievable guitar. Is has the super humbuckers that have the black tar on the back of them.
The Greco L5-S copy is a bit brighter. It's pickups don't have the Gibby tarback, but they sound awesome. Also the only difference is the back of the Gibby neck is flamed, otherwise if you ever see a Greco copy of the L5-S, buy it and thank me later. I've never seen one for sale for years, that's why I bought it.
Hope this helps
