Which model is my Tokai?

Hello,
I have a "Tokai Stratocaster Japan Super Edition 80S", but after researching in forums and catalogues, i don't know its model yet. Please could you help?

Please see pictures attached.

Details:
- Headstock: there is not model name in the headstock. Just a label with text "Tokai Super Edition".
- Serial number: 4016956 located in the plastic back plate.

Oh wow. You have one of the unusual examples with the serial number on the trem cover.

Looks like a 1984 serial number.

Here’s another example:

1985 (?) Silver Star with a serial number on the trem cover and incorrect color code.

Please help ID this strange SS Tokai

So i guess it is a TSS model. Maybe TSS-38?
I guess it is not possible to find out the exact model from my pictures :S

The Super Editions were called SD I think?

It’s tough because I’m not aware of a catalog that has your model in it.

Perhaps replaced. At least there is one.

Well if it is one of these I would wager that it was made in 1984 or 1985 since the others I have seen are from this period.
