What can you tell me about this Edwards?

I have been offered this Edwards in a sale and was wondering what you guys could tell me about it. Unlike any Edwards I had seen. Seller says it's an early Edwards, just after breaking off of ESP Navigator. Has ESP pickups instead of the Duncans that are in newer Edwards. Also has Fret Edge Binding which the newer Edwards do not have. What can you tell me about this? Any idea on year, specs, quality? Better than current production?

Seems like your questions were pretty thoroughly answered there. If you kick the tires too long, you may lose it. $800 is very reasonable.

Most of my questions were answered over there. But a couple weren't, mainly what type of finish it has. Was just wanting to see if anyone had any other info

I'd bet that it's either full nitro or nitro topcoat over poly
