I bid on that one but I didn't throw at it what the winning bidder threw at it.
Too many recent purcha$e$ and mounting bill$ for this and that kept me from being the winning bidder.
I can vouch for the luthier that made the instrument because both my Explorers were made by him; he really knows his stuff.

The neck thickness is 24.0mm for 1F and 27mm for 11F.
The nut width is 43mm, and the weight is 3.6kg even though it is solid.

The color is a yellowed natural, and the paint is all lacquer with no intermediate coat, layered only with sealer, color and clear.
It's like an Old Gibson here.

In addition, it is not a perfect mirror surface, but a light aged finish with scratches and dents throughout, including parts.

The truss rod is slightly tightened and the neck is straight.

Currently, D'Addario, 010-, 046 is set to 6th string 1.8mm and 1st string 1.3mm (12F). Even if it is lowered a little more, there is no chatter or the like to worry about.

Nice ~ $1500 USD. This would be one of those things that I would want to play personally before buying. I love my Korina Reverend guitar, and a LP under 8 lbs would be a dream!

my Explorers from this luthier are honduran ( 7 lb 11oz) and korina ( (7 lb 14 oz) and they are both top shelf.
I'm confident the honduran/korina les paul is a KILLER guitar and at under 8 lb I would have loved to have obtained it but s>>> ..............
