I've always liked those....never played one. I've got my eye on the new Tokai Anniversary models that member togps has. I'd post a pic but his website doesn't seem to be working (??)

I've got an early one - lovely guitar

Mine is the prototype that was taken to the Frankfurt Guitar show in 2002 and has the two toggle switches that work the coil taps in the pickups

Hi there I was lucky enough to pick one of these up on e-bay for ?250, and it`s one of the best guitars i`ve ever owned. construction, materials and most importantly tone and playability are wonderful. i`ve bought and sold loads of tokais (as well as edwards burnies and grecos) over the last few years, including some very early eighties Love Rocks (IMHO I don`t rate them any better than any better than recent ones), but it`s An LS1000 and the LR2 that i`ve held on to( although i massively regret selling an 03 LS80F that was truly wonderful) Any way there is some LR2 footage on www.myspace.com/andyhyldon if you`re interested
