I'm currently thinking about purchasing a Tokai LC156s and trying to find out how it compares to Gibson Traditionals (2013 or 2019)
I know that the Tokais are great guitar and great value, but they are a bit pricey now and get closer to prices of second hand Gibson Traditionals (the second hand Gibsons are about 300$ more expensive than a new Tokai)
I wonder how does the 156 model compares to the Traditional sound-wise?
I didn't have the chance to play both (I only played the Gibson Standard 50's and 60's which are similarly spec'd to the Traditional 2019) so I'd be happy to know differences.
And I wonder about the binding on the Tokai, I know the finish is Poly, but is the binding over the finish or under it? I want the binding to yellow with the time.
