Hello dear Tokai forumers!

Fresh meat here, I recently bougth a new Tokai ATE-80 Breezysound in olympic white colour. That was the last one mohican at the dealer, and I really wanted one.

I payed it forward, but didnt get the axe yet, I am waiting her so much... But the cause why I write this topic is that I cant find any reviews of these models. I was also looking for it on this forum but nothing I found.

I only found on the net that this model has not a traditional telecaster build.

If anyone has one, give me a review of this axe, I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance, and take care,

MrBlues

Hi Hamamatsu!

Sorry for my delayed answer, but the website didnt allow me to log in many times. I also failed to upload pics, neither allowed me the website to upload links. It said that I am a spammer...

Nevermind, I got the axe. I was mistaken, its a Tokai ATE-88 Breezysound. MAde in Japan of course. It looks beautiful, plays beautiful, sounds like a craaazy telecaster, it has THE sound. I am truly impressed by the finish, the parts, the pickup. Everything is just wonderful, and amazing.

If you can tell me how to upload pics here, I will do it to share this beauty with You guys :)

8) hello, mr.blues! i havent used this site myself but this is what the tokai forum owner "ned" suggests us to use for our guitar pics. so hopefully this works great! used to use the photobucket myself but they changed the rules and no more free services since. anyways, i go get the info of your tokai telecaster, ATE88 now. see ya!

TOKAI ATE-88 (88000 yen the list in japan then.)

BODY : Alder
NECK : Maple
FINGERBOARD : Maple or Rosewood, 22F
BRIDGE : TE-VB Bridge
PICKUPS : TE-Vintage MK3

@ comes with the tokai gig bag.

8) it seems like tokai made their vintage series fender type replicas/copies with both the 21 or 22 frets depending on the year they made those guitars. i checked the recent tokai japan catalogs and certainly the both 21/22 fret types exist on almost all the models.
