Hi. I am new here.
I would appreciate to know the model and the year of my Tokai JB. According to the seller the bass was manufactured early 80's.

I would also like to get your opinion whether I will buy new tuners, pots cover and bridge (because they are quite dirty) or do you think its better to just stay with stock (tuners, pots cover, and bridge)

Here's the pic

Looks like it has been exposed to a lot of humidity. Would want to be sure the neck is OK.

The serial number is from 1982. Need to see the back of the tuners to help with the model.

Hi Sigmania,

Thank you for your response.
Here is the pic of the back of the tuners.
It has 3 screws.

Thank you Sigmania for your reply.

Any article or topic in the forum to know what is the difference between JB45, JB 50, JB 60 and JB 85 and JB 120?

The best resource is the catalogs and the specs listed for the models.
