They had a great review of it in Premier Guitar magazine:

I'm a big fan of the old Magnatone amps and some of their spinoff brands like Tonemaster, Lyric, Unique and PanAramic... have several of them. The Evil Robot is built to Magnatone specs with current components - just have to be bad *** to hear. Would love to take one out for a spin some day.

it's not his guitar... He used a guitar given by a friend...
Here the owner's words:
yup, that's my Tokai Love Rock with a custom made MJS P90 neck pickup (made to look like a humbucker). MJS Custom Pickups are available HERE at The Guitar World in Mississauga. BTW, as I was about to leave the stage to sit out for this song, Phil said "hey man, can I borrow your guitar?"

Looks like a fake to me. Thick fake logo, very strange headstock dimple.

The logo does look thick

Anyway in second video he says many good words about his own Tokai Flying V - "craftmanship quality is amazing"

My friend ask owner about this guitar and here is answer:

Whats the exact Tokai model name ?

kumpiz 7 hours ago

@kumpiz - It's the "Love Rock" by Tokai. We used to sell a lot of them here at The Guitar World in Mississauga ($699), but they're no longer available. BUT ... we now have the Roxbury and Dillion (Canada models ONLY; never USA) line of guitars which have proven to be a successful alternative.

Color of that particular guitar at least looks like legit Tokai HDC. Headstock dimple? Maybe any variation for the Canadian market? Fakai?
They now sell Dillions. I saw some info in internet before that Canadian Dillions and Fakai come from same source, but I'm not from Canada and maybe it's just a rumors.

There are legit korean Tokai's in Canada and there are plenty of Fakai's as well. The guy to whom i take my guitars to is a authorized Tokai dealer and there are some hanging on the walls. They do have the import headstock with dimple. They aren't "make in Korea", but they are older korean models. NO he isn't the guy who imported all the Fakai's into Canada either. I really can't tell from that video which guitar that might be.

It's nice to see a young rocker play the Little Wing solo with such restraint! Very understated :)

Here's the Evil Robot being Profiled by the Kemper Profiling Amp...Rob Chappers on guitar.
