New Member Tokai SG Junior USG90

Hi, Thanks for allowing me to join!

I've only ever owned one Tokai & it was a MIJ Love Rock from 2002, lovely thing but very long gone. I only bother with single P90 guitars now & literally just found a White MIJ SG Junior here in the UK. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on when these were made & hopefully the specs of the finish etc. From the little i have seen online am i right in thinking these are very limited?

They are pretty uncommon. The ones I have seen were made in China.

Also do you know what the p90 reads at & is it branded from stock? Thanks ; )

FWIW, here is the 2011/12 UK catalog shot of this guitar.

Its poly.The pickup was a low wind,i think it was 6.7 kOhm.It was not branded.
Mine is one of togps special run in faded cherry from 2008.

Thanks chap. I was surprised to find the p90 hsd the correct nickel baseplate & it certainly rocks even if it is a low wind! I've had Gibson p90's that didn't sound as good!

Do you know if the UK models were limited/special order? I'm sure i read there's only 24?
