I found it! I found someone who will sell it for $1200 (including shipping, it's in Japan!) Is this reasonable? It's kinda what I expected. He said he called Tokai, and they're sending a new one... I sent a picture (the one from the website) and he said that he could get it.

Yay!

There is always a risk if you'll buy via internet, but e.g. ebay wouldn't exist, if people were not willing to give a little of confidence in advance...
