How big are SG necks

Hi all, I'm new to the forum('') and have a quick question on SG necks...... I'm after an sg p90 or sg75 but want to know just how chunky these necks are. I've already got an ls 65 goldtop and love the neck on that, the nut width is 43 mm but I've heard the SG's have bigger necks and for some reason it fills me with dread. i'm keen to know thoughts...........cheers

I don't actually own a Tokai SG, but SG necks are generally slim but wide. Don't worry too much about neck profiles, I have strats with huge V necks, 50's les-pauls and super skinny Ibanez wizards, they are all very different, but all very playable.

I had a Tokai SG in the late 80s/early 90s, and it had a slim, fairly wide neck. Haven't had it for about 15 years, but my LS85S has a neck that is quite a bit chunkier.
